Consistently I have had a desire to work in the sports management industry. With gradual success I started playing for the North Shore rep team participation in the North American Roller Hockey Championships and other travel tournaments. As my desire for roller hockey grew I started contacting other rep teams both in US and worldwide. As a result I was able to team up with programs in Colorado, San Jose, San Francisco, and Philadelphia. The experience provided me with an opportunity to play for the Canadian National Roller Hockey Team and participate in the 2005 Pan American Championships in Argentina. Upon returning to Vancouver I was contacted by a program out of New Zealand and was offered a season roster spot. In 2006 I had the pleasure of playing and winning a National Championship with the Rimutaka Renegades. Starting out as an athlete I focused on football and Roller Hockey. Initially, playing minor football for the Westside Warriors program in the Vancouver Mainland Football League. Then playing for the Carson Graham Eagles in the BC High School Football League. While at Carson Graham we had the success of a Provincial Championship in 2002. Upon that success I chose to focus on Roller Hockey which I was playing fulltime in the North Shore Inline Hockey league
Since returning to Vancouver I have focused on my business career and attained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Simon Fraser University. My desire to work in the sports management industry has progressed with the creation of CKM Sports Management. In November of 2012 the company was named runner up for SFU Entrepreneur of the Year.
